Courses
Comprehensive hands-on training tailored to the Chicago bar market — craft cocktails, professional bartending duties, alcohol awareness, and customer service.
The Program
Our Mixology program is designed to provide comprehensive training in all areas of professional bartending. Students learn to mix popular and classic drinks and gain working knowledge of bartending duties, alcohol awareness, and customer service — all hands-on behind a real bar.
Graduates learn to prepare 125 traditional drinks plus the latest trending cocktails. In addition, students earn beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service certifications. The school uses the Anheuser-Busch "Beertender" training program and the Guinness Beer "Perfect Pour" program.
Chicago is the birthplace of some of America's most influential bar culture — from the jazz-club cocktails of the 1920s to the craft bartending revolution that transformed River North and Logan Square into destinations for national cocktail tourists.
